Metallic paint: where it all started. All my life, I have been addicted to metallic paint. The largest body of work, I have used many different mat-board surfaces, each exhibiting it's own charms. In particular, the rough metallic-surface mat boards, and the linen mats have been most intriguing. There is a terrific tactile effect; the linen mats look like the paint is silk-screened on, and with the metallic mat boards, the rough surface is rock-like, like copper pyrite. They range from 5" x 7" and 8" x 10", up to 16" x 20". These samples are the two smaller sizes.
