I think I get most excited working with the foil surface. The metallic paint is already quite reflective; on top of the foil paper, the pieces seem to glow from within. The foil is so slick, it is challenging to lay out a design, and I have to work very quickly.
These pieces are also hard to photograph. The color fade on one side is a consequence of my photography. The actual pieces have fully saturated color all the way around. Most of these are 5" x 7", and a few are 12" x 12". Foil pieces in the home page gallery are 12" x 12".
